Gotham Comedy Club Night

I'm thrilled to announce that Eric Plaut (a Daddy from our group) will be performing on stage at Gotham on Friday, December 19th, at 6:30pm. 

Eric's a funny guy and Gotham is a great venue. 

We go to Gotham for Trav's Birthday every year and we're always impressed.

Schedule a sitter and join us for an evening in the city!

*Make sure when you call Gotham you tell them you're going to see Eric so he gets credit for his attendees!*

Lucky Strike Update

Due to my emergency out-of-town trip, I was unable to organize Lucky Strike night for this week...however since many of you were up for it, I'll be sure to reschedule as soon as Thanksgiving is over. 

Eek! A Climber!

Tonight my little monkey was sitting up in his crib while I put away some clean clothes in his drawers. I watched as he pulled himself up onto his knees by holding on to his crib rail. He bounced up and down on his knees and sang and laughed for about a minute or two.

Then he shakily pulled himself up to standing position, still holding on to his crib rail. This scared me because the rail came up to his waist and he could easily topple over. So I made a mental note to lower his crib this weekend and continued to watch him.

He then swung his left leg and then the right leg over the rail and jumped for it! He landed in my arms, of course, since I was watching it all progress. But still...he climbed and jumped!! And he's not even walking unassisted...needless to say I changed the mattress level TONIGHT. 

I know he's growing up and these are things they can do at his age but until you see it for the first time you really don't think they are capable.

Where has my little inanimate baby gone?

Hi Moms!

Last week most of you didn't hear from me because I had to make an emergency trip home to Florida to be with family. All is well now and I am home in WNY. :)

As a result, the blog wasn't updated and emails didn't go out so I have a lot to catch up on this week.

FYI:

SPA DAY is still set for Sunday, Nov. 16th. 10am - 12:30pm at Muse Spa on 20 Dempsey Ave. (across from Whole Foods) -- If you are interested in coming, please RSVP directly to me via email. Also tell me what services you may be interested in so I can tell Judy what to expect. She gives us a discount on services and sets up an area for us to have coffee, tea, champagne, and treats. Please remember to bring something yummy to eat or drink.

LUCKY STRIKE BOWLING for the ADULTS ONLY night hasn't been confirmed yet since I was out of town. If there is still interest, I can try to set it up this week. Let me know. If not this week we can always reschedule it. Sorry!

CLUBHOUSE FIASCO: For those of you who were there for the Halloween Party -- since I was gone for a week I didn't write my letter to the Office yet however I will this week and I'll pass it around for signatures as well. I won't get into details here b/c it will ALL be in the letter. I'll also post it on the blog.
