If you're like me, you receive about 9 catalogs each day the mail comes.
By the end of the week, catalogs have piled higher than Trav's WSJ stack on our coffee table.
Most of the catalogs are baby/toy related...some have adorable clothing, expensive custom made gift ideas, and eco-friendly toys.
Others are a complete waste of the 5 minutes it takes to flip through them before they are recycled.
I don't know how I got on all these mailing lists but I assume it has something to do with my Hunter-shopping habits.
Who knows? ;)
I saw this toy in a catalog this week and thought it was TOO cute and Hunter is going to get it for the holidays:
It's a ball pit inside of a plush dinosaur. When he is done, you zip it up and it doubles as a bean bag chair. LOVE it!
Then I saw this:
It's called Kitty Cat Camp. Nuff said. It's scary and the cats have removable vinyl clothes. This is the worst toy EVER. Worse than the toys SNL used to make fun of (like Bag O' Broken Glass).
Anyways this holiday season is getting more and more exciting since Trav and I have an excuse to shop for cool toys again. We're getting Hunter his first Rocking Animal (I am not saying "horse" b/c we haven't chosen one yet and they have all sorts of Rockers these days). Next year will be even more spirited with 2 kids looking forward to a visit from Santa. More cookies and milk for me! :)
Asie, if you show this "worst toy" to my 4 year old daughter she will die for it! I swear. BTW, I have witnessed not once already how kids pick the ugliest thing in a pile and get so attached to it!
ReplyDeleteThe dinosaur is really cute though! You can also stuff him with other stuff toys (I saw the idea on some site once and decided I would get one of those when I have my own home and hopefully more room :)).
