Sesame Place

Woohoo Sesame Place...you must go!
Justyn, his mom, Alexarya and I took a little road trip today to Sesame Place. It took an hour and 15 minutes to get there and it was well worth the trip. It's a bit pricey, $50 a person but that gets you 2 trips to the park and VIP parking for another $25 but that was well worth the convenience. There was tons for Alexarya to do, even at 1 and a half. There were zero entry pools (which I recently discovered means a pool that you can walk into at ankle level that doesn't really get much deeper). There were sprinklers and mist machines that she loved to play in. We saw two shows, one with all the Sesame characters and the other was Elmo's World. She couldn't even sit in her seat she was so excited! There was a run-around mat and shapes area for kids under 5 and a wonderful merry-go-round. Alexarya had her cheek painted with a heart. (We had more grandiose design but that was all she would agree to sit still for. ;-) The food was pretty decent and had lots of fruits and healthy snacks a mom could appreciate. There were tons of safe places to leave your stroller. The bathrooms were gross, but I guess that's to be expected at a place with hundreds of little kids. I suggest putting on lots of sunscreen as there is little shade, bring sani-wipes and lots of purell. The park opened at 10 but we got there around 12 and left at 4. Alexarya passed out the second we got in the car. What a fun day!! Really you all must go!
